Dealing with Anxiety

Anxiety can be a real struggle in the demanding world of an EA, right? I'm learning to get better at dealing with it, and honestly, these things have been lifesavers:

Find a safe space: When things get overwhelming, I escape to a quiet place. Sometimes it's a corner in the office, and once it was even behind a bookcase that was actually a secret door to a hidden room (I'm not kidding!). Other times, it's literally hiding in the stairwell for a few minutes to just breathe and get my head together. It's like hitting the reset button.

My EA squad: You know, those people who just get it? Connecting with other EAs is a lifeline. They offer support and they remind me that I'm not alone.

Finding my zen: Grounding techniques like focusing on my senses or a quick meditation help me calm anxiety and refocus.

Knowing when to ask for help: This one was tough for me, but learning to ask for help is a game-changer. Whether it's delegating a task or just needing to vent to someone, it makes a huge difference.

Remember, you're not alone in this journey. Let's continue to support each other and find ways to combat anxiety together.
